1000Flowers was founded in Canada in 2000 by Jessica Buchanan. The early focus of the company was to offer a selection of pure essential oils and natural skin care creations. This evolved into natural perfumery, which led to the founder's decision to study fragrance creation at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in 2007, and subsequently, to emigrate from Canada and make France her home.

She is a Grasse-trained perfumer, 10+yr resident and veteran in the world of essential oils, natural skincare and fragrance. Her fragrance line was broad and beautiful, her philosophy grounded in deep appreciation and respect for the natural world from the fragrance ingredients to the paper packaging.
Jessica, (originally from Canada) welcomed my idea to introduce her line to the Twin Cities and now, two years later w love in the TC and US markets, our lives are more fragrant because of her craft.

Tucked down a discreet cobblestone alley off Edina’s Nolan Mains at 50th & France sits a jewel box of a store, Senti, named for the imperative form of the French verb meaning “to feel.”
